The training programme for all those that deal with ergonomics at work.
The IGR is always on hand with its individual training and seminar programme. For example, if it is a question of providing information about healthy behaviour at the workplace. Experienced trainers with a high level of practical orientation communicate everything that needs to be considered when it comes to helathy working in an understandable manner. The programme is rounded off by easily comprehensible exercises for practical application in terms of sustainable prevention.
The aim is the communication of ergonomic expertise especially for sales staff so that the product features are able to be more confidently communicated to the appropriate target group at the customers. In addition to the Purchasing department, this may also be such as the Occupational Health Management department, Industrial Safety or also the Personnel department. Multipliers who have a decisive say in procurement matters.
The new training formats
The new training formats of the Institut für Gesundheit und Ergonomie are aimed, in addition to the familiar training courses, particularly at practitioners from the sales departments of manufacturers and from qualified dealers.
“Better selling with ergonomics expertise”
The IGR has developed this training format especially for providers of ergonomic products and services.
Because questions are always asked of those people who are actively involved in sales work:
- How do I present the special features of my products in such a way that they positively stand out from the competition?
- What is essential in a true unique selling point?
- How do I identify the target groups that are most relevant for me and how do I approach the important opinion formers and multipliers?
You gain confidence in your line of argument in discussions with customers and in the giving of advice when questions relating to the subject of ergonomics come up.

Certificate
Your advisory expertise becomes more visible with the IGR certificate. After successful completion of the examination you receive the certificate “Specialist Salesperson in Ergonomics, IGR e.V.-certified”.
Duration
Daily format: 9 am – 4 pm
“Certified Sleep Consultant in Ergonomics”
The IGR has developed this training format especially for providers of mattresses and sleep systems and specialist advisors at bed and mattress dealers.
The aim of the seminar
You gain confidence in your line of argument in discussions with customers and in the giving of advice when questions relating to the subject of: “Ergonomically correct and therefore healthier sleep” come up. Ergonomic expertise especially for sales people and staff is taught so that the product features are able to be communicated to the customers in an increasingly confident and needs-based manner.

External and internal sales staff of the manufacturers and sales staff at specialist dealers
Industries
Manufacturers of mattresses and sleeping systems, specialist dealers in beds, bed discount shops
Training content
The IGR has developed this training format for providers of ergonomic products and services and specialist dealers in the sleep area. Because questions are always asked of those people who are actively involved in sales work:
- How do I advise customers in a correct and needs-based manner?
- What is essential in a true unique selling point?
- How do I make sleep ergonomics something to be experienced and guide my customers towards a sleeping system which is perfectly suited to their needs?
- Live sleep ergonomics training: …gains the immediate interest of customers and teaches the subject of healthy sleeping as an emotional experience.
- Principles of environmental ergonomics and functional anatomy at the place of sleeping
- T.O.P. (Technical, Organizational, Personal) model for the optimisation of sleep behaviour
- Provision of tools & check-lists on the subject of sleep ergonomics
- Practical benefit arguments in sales discussions

Certificate
After successful completion of the examination you receive the certificate “Certified Sleep Consultant in Ergonomics, IGR e.V.-tested”.

The seminar has been constructed to be in a closed format and may be exclusively booked by manufacturers and/or trading companies
