Nuremberg, September 2018
The IGR will collaborate in the future with one of the world’s largest companies for the testing, inspection and certification of products, the company Intertek.
The main focus of the cooperation will be on the fields of product certification and in the training area.
The IGR seal of quality “Ergonomic product”
The services portfolio of Intertek relating to the assessment of the ergonomic properties of products will be expanded to include the seal of quality.
The seal of quality “Ergonomic product” is a certificate that is synonymous with the usability of ergonomic products. The seal of quality is awarded after a successful conclusion of the testing procedure that is carried out by the IGR in accordance with DIN 33419 / EN ISO 15537. The product testing applies the valid standards and determines the level of adaptation of the product to the physical characteristics of the test people.
IGR “training & education”: Seminars and training courses
From the very beginning, the drawing up and carrying out of seminars and training courses have been a most important concern for the work of the IGR. The IGR will supplement the training programme of the Intertek Academy with an extensive certified education programme.
High-quality training and education formats are the key to occupational health. The IGR training & education programme is synonymous with training courses for healthy behaviour in companies and at the same time gives practical guidance on personal implementation at your own workplace. Experienced trainers with a high level of practical orientation impart everything that needs to be considered related to healthy working in an understandable manner.
The seminar programme
Training of multipliers for occupational health
These courses are aimed at companies and authorities that wish to impart valuable and practical knowledge for healthy behaviour at the workplace to all their employees.
Because the subject of demographics has been a factor in companies for some time: A shortage of young people and the aging of the workforce urgently demand systematic employee training. So that they remain healthy and are at the same time able to pass on their knowledge to others.
Multipliers and ambassadors for healthier working are trained who can detect ergonomic and/or stress-related problems at an early stage and taking preventative action.
The training concept has been developed by the IGR in collaboration with the Mensch&Büro-Akademie and comprises three formats that are aimed at differing target groups in companies and authorities. Within this, the areas of administration and production are covered separately.
