KÖHL becomes an industry partner of the Workplace Health Initiative
Unique new seat development comes to Orgatec
Nuremberg, Rödermark - KÖHL, the manufacturer of ergonomically high-quality, ecologically thought-out seating solutions, has decided to enter into an industrial partnership with IGR e.V..
KÖHL had already been in contact with IGR e.V. for several years. The association stands for expert knowledge of physiotherapists and back teachers, especially on the prevention topic of "sitting in motion". For about two years, these findings have been incorporated into a unique new seat development, which KÖHL will present for the first time at ORGATEC 2014, the leading trade fair for office furnishings and organisation (Cologne Trade Fair 21 - 25 October). Appropriately, KÖHL became a sponsoring member and competence partner of the "Workplace Health Initiative" with the industry partnership, which conveys the importance of the prevention idea nationwide. Numerous sales partners and KÖHL sales staff have already been trained on this topic.
The aim of the cooperation is to draw attention to the important topic of maintaining health through prevention at office or industrial workplaces, as well as to sensitise investors, company health services, personnel and employee organisations to this issue and thus also to emphasise the added value of KÖHL seating furniture.
