The IGR Innovation Award – a permanent fixture in the field of ergonomics

Over the past six years, the IGR Innovation Award has established itself as a recognized award and is now regarded as a reliable benchmark for the quality and innovative strength of companies and organizations dedicated to the topic of ergonomics.

Once again this year, numerous companies from a wide range of industries faced the critical judgment of the expert jury. The result: an impressive range of innovative approaches and solutions that show how strongly the topic of ergonomics has now arrived in all areas of life – whether at work, in the home office or in leisure time, for example when doing sport. After all, health affects us all – regardless of industry, company size or lifestyle.

The IGR Innovation Award recognizes not only technological innovations, but also holistic concepts that understand ergonomics as a forward-looking component of modern living and working environments. The award winners of previous years are impressive proof of how sustainable ergonomic impulses can be.

This year is the last time the Ergonomics Innovation Award will be presented – marking the end of a successful phase of honoring pioneering ergonomic developments. Our special thanks go to all applicants, supporters and the many dedicated experts who have contributed to the success with their expertise, commitment and, last but not least, a great deal of passion.

We are delighted to have made a contribution to the success of our award winners with the IGR Innovation Award – and thus to the further development of ergonomics as the key to better health and quality of life.

IGR Closing remarks

With this year’s Ergonomics Innovation Award, we are honoring for the last time the pioneering spirit, commitment and vision of numerous companies that see ergonomics as the key to health, performance and quality of life – and have translated this into concrete solutions.

Our congratulations go to all the winners. They are exemplary for a new culture of thinking: for corporate responsibility, sustainable product development and a deep understanding of how important healthy framework conditions are in all areas of life.

The IGR would like to thank everyone involved for six years of innovation, exchange and exemplary work. The Innovation Award has come to an end – the idea behind it continues to have an impact and will be consistently pursued with our “Ergonomics Offensive Germany”. We look forward to many more years of ergonomics.
