Certified know-how for specialist dealers

At the beginning of last month, at the invitation of an office chair manufacturer, around two dozen specialist sales staff members completed further training of the Mensch&Büro-Akademie and the IGR to become certified ergonomics coaches. In Groß-Umstadt, on the edge of the Odenwald, they spent three days intensively dealing with the topic of ergonomics and how to teach it. Christian Brunner, 1st Chairman of the IGR first provided consolidated expertis knowledge, from anatomy to healthy office equipment and improvement measures at the workplace, to possibilities of didactic visualisation and computer-supported methods of workplace analysis.

The second part of the training was led by trainer, coach and author Sebastian Mauritz. With him, the participants learned a lot about communication, perception and dealing with different roles. As sales staff and at the same time ergonomics coach, they are only really successful if they succeed in always clearly separating the complementary roles vis-à-vis the customer.

After three days of concentrated learning, the training ended with a written examination. Everyone was not only satisfied with the learning progress, but also valued the opportunity to exchange ideas in the relaxed atmosphere of the conference hotel.
