Every two years, a qualified jury of IGR members and external experts awards the Ergonomics Innovation Prize, which recognizes exemplary work in the field of ergonomics. Award winners can be manufacturers of outstanding health-promoting products as well as employers who pay above-average attention to the best ergonomic conditions in the workplace.
Since 2019, we have been giving companies the right platform to publicize their efforts in this area and have them recognized accordingly. In addition, this competition advocates a more mindful approach to our health and encourages other companies to invest in a more ergonomic working environment themselves. It also supports the fruitful exchange of experience between producers, retailers and users.
From a large number of candidates previously nominated by the IGR, as well as unsolicited applicants, the winners are those who are convincing as pioneers of forward-looking solutions.

Take your chance to convince our jury
The application phase runs from October to February of the following year, during which you can present your exceptionally ergonomic product innovations or work systems, which are then evaluated by our jury according to a points system. We will then announce the winners in March. If you have not already caught our attention through ongoing certification or joint product development and have been proactively nominated by the IGR, you are welcome to enter the race on your own initiative.
It doesn’t matter whether your valuable contribution is a body-friendly concept or a service for more ergonomics that is already being used in practice.
