IGR certifications – we put ergonomic products in the spotlight
We all want to go through life healthy. That’s why the IGR is committed to using our certificate to honor all products that are particularly ergonomic and thus serve to prevent physical complaints. The working environment is taken into account as well as private use. The spectrum ranges from seating furniture and pillows to back-friendly garden tools and lighting systems.
In order to receive our seal of quality, strict quality criteria must be met, which we check using extensive product and practical tests. In addition, we support you as a partner in professionally developing the idea of an ergonomic product in order to ultimately successfully place it in retail. With our “Innovation Award for Ergonomics” every two years, we highlight particularly exemplary ergonomic achievements, which often become an inspiration for others. We maintain an extensive network of manufacturers and specialist dealers who already sell certified products and introduce you to international sales representatives who represent the IGR abroad.
Innovation Award of Ergonomics
We are of the opinion that extremely forward-looking ergonomic concepts should also be recognized accordingly. For some years now, the IGR has therefore been awarding the specially created “Innovation Award For Ergonomics”, for which manufacturers, developers and designers who have come up with ingenious solutions in this area can apply.
Product certification
Based on DIN EN ISO 26800 / EN ISO 15537, the IGR checks whether ergonomic products and services meet the specified conditions. Numerous test procedures also help us to assess practical applicability. If certification is granted, our seal of approval can be used officially to help customers make decisions and thus boost your sales figures.
Product development
The IGR deals with the subject of ergonomics on a daily basis and therefore has a considerable wealth of experience, which we are happy to incorporate into the well thought-out development of new products.
