In future, the IGR Institute for Health and Ergonomics will be working with one of the world’s largest companies for testing, inspection and certification of products, Intertek.

The cooperation will focus on the fields of product certification and training.

The IGR seal of approval Ergonomic product

The seal of approval complements Intertek’s portfolio of services for assessing the ergonomic properties of products.

The “Ergonomic product” seal of approval is a certificate that stands for the usability of ergonomic products. After successful completion of the test procedure, which is carried out by the IGR in accordance with DIN 33419 / EN ISO 15537, the seal of approval is awarded. The product test applies the applicable standards and determines the degree of adaptation of the product to the physical characteristics of the test subjects.

IGR “Training & Education”: Seminars and training courses

From the very beginning, the conception and organization of seminars and training courses have been an important focus for the IGR. The IGR supplements the training program of the Intertek Academy with a comprehensive advanced training program with certificate.

High-quality training and education formats are the key to occupational health. The IGR Training & Education program stands for training on healthy behavior in companies and at the same time provides practical instructions for personal implementation at your own workplace. Experienced speakers with a high degree of practical relevance convey everything that needs to be considered when it comes to healthy working in a comprehensible form.

Training of multipliers for occupational health

These courses are aimed at companies and authorities who want to provide all employees with valuable and practicable knowledge for healthier behavior in the workplace.

The issue of demographics has long since arrived in companies: A lack of young talent and an ageing workforce mean that systematic employee training is essential. So that they can stay healthy and at the same time pass on their knowledge to others.

Multipliers and ambassadors for healthier working are trained who can recognize ergonomic and/or stress-related problems at an early stage and intervene preventively.

The training concept was developed by IGR e.V. in cooperation with the Mensch&Büro-Akademie and comprises three formats aimed at different target groups in companies and public authorities. The areas of administration and production are covered separately.
