The manufacturer Wilhelm Humpert GmbH & Co. KG from Wickede/Ruhr produces customizable bicycle components under the name ergotec. The aim of the developments is a high degree of adaptation to the needs of the respective cyclists. What we particularly like is that not only are ergonomic products built and sold, but the focus is also deliberately placed on the correct setting and therefore optimum use. This was worth the award of the 2021 Ergonomics Innovation Prize, which ergotec logically informed all cyclists about. As with almost all products that can call themselves ergonomic, their health-promoting effect is only achieved if they are used correctly. As the saying goes: “It’s all a matter of attitude!”
